Escape With Movies Most people know a good movie can transport you into another world. A good movie has the power to uplift the human spirit and take people to a higher plane. Movies can open your heart, expand your mind, take a current idea and change it, or alter someone's life if moved to do so. Watching a favorite movie is like visiting an old friend. My brothers and I were blessed to be born in the George Lucas and Steven Spielburg time of Star Wars, and Indiana Jones. The magic of seeing these movies at a young age lit our imaginations and many summers were spent investigating the woods near our home pretending to be Indy, Han Solo, or Luke Skywalker. Taking part in the never ending battle of good versus evil, I had my Indy hat and my brothers were always armed with a wooden lightsaber donated from a nearby tree. Sometimes I was R2D2, other times C3PO. It did not matter who played what character. The important part was capturing the movie magic for ourselves and these movies had influence in the people we became later on in life.
